A roundup for students entering kindergarten this fall will take place in April at several grade schools throughout Jennings County.
Students must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 to enroll in kindergarten. An immunization record and an original birth certificate must be provided during the enrollment, according to Jennings County Schools spokeswoman Jeanie Koelmel.
Parents, who must enroll their child in the school area where they live, will receive free items that can be used to help their child prepare for their first full year in school.
The following are the dates, times and locations for kindergarten roundup:
Parents who are unable to make their child’s scheduled roundup may attend one of the sessions at the other schools.
