Firefighters called to overheated furnace

JONESVILLE — Jonesville and Columbus Township firefighters responded to smoke in a rural Wayne Township home at about 7:45 a.m. this morning.
The smoke was caused by the furnace being used for the first time this fall. Firefighters cleared the smoke with a ventilation fan.
The home is on County Road 550S across from Wayne Township Park.
