Indiana Youth Flag Football is still taking registrations for its upcoming fall season for boys and girls ages 4 to 12. Games will be played Sunday afternoons at Clifty Creek Park.

FFY has basketball sign-ups

Foundation For Youth is taking registrations for Biddy Basketball for boys and girls in kindergarten through Grade 12 through Oct. 26.

Bev Coleman 5K scheduled

The Bev Coleman 5K Run/Walk will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at Sandy Hook United Methodist Church. Registration will begin at 2 p.m. and is available online at signmeup/86876.

Cost is $20 before Oct. 15 and includes a $5 Subway gift card, or $25 after Oct. 15.

Basketball camp set this week

Columbus East boys basketball coach Brent Chitty and Columbus North coach Jason Speer and their staffs will play host to the Columbus Revolution Tip-Off Camp for second- through sixth-grade boys Monday and Wednesday at East and Tuesday and Thursday at North. Grades 2 to 4 will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Grades 5 and 6 will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Cost is $55, and registration will take place the first day of camp.

Indiana Mojo to have softball tournament

The Bloomington-based Indiana Mojo 14U fastpitch softball team will have the Mojo Buddy Ball Tournament to promote Down Syndrome Awareness from Friday to Oct. 7 at Danny Smith Park. There will be tourneys for 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U. Cost is $250 with three games guaranteed.

Tennis league being formed

Weekly singles matches will be played tentatively at 6 p.m. Wednesdays at the Richards Elementary School tennis courts for anyone interested. Very informal.

East, Hauser sports passes on sale

Columbus East football season tickets and all-sports passes are available in the athletic office during school hours. Costs are $15 for a football season ticket, $200 for an all-sports family pass, $80 for an adult pass, $50 for a senior citizen pass and $40 for a BCSC student pass.

Hauser all-sports passes are on sale in the athletic office and at all home contests. Costs are $80 for adults, $70 for students, $60 for adults 60 to 80 and $30 for adults 80 and over.

Ceraland to have fall fast-pitch softball leagues

Ceraland will have five fall fast-pitch softball leagues. The divisions will be 8-and-under (coaches pitch), 10U, 12U, 14U and high school. Cost is $35 per individual or $350 per team.
