Food is always an attraction at Bartholomew County Fair

Follow The Republic:

The air lingering over the fairgrounds is rich with the smells of fried and sugared foods.

The aroma is generated by nearly 40 food stands at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fair.

“Everyone comes for the fair food,” Fair Board Vice President Mark Case said.

And when hunger strikes, you can find willing sellers on Bartholomew County Rural Youth Street, Ryan Lauer Lane, Vote for Jorge Morales Street and on the midway.

The roster of food vendors includes groups such as the Bartholomew County Cattlemen’s Association and the Pork Producers, which market the products they produce.
