Former Bartholomew County elected official Krieg dies

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bernice "Bernie" Krieg, 88, former Bartholomew County assessor and recorder and longtime Democratic Party activist, died Sunday evening at Silver Oaks Health Care Center in Columbus.

Services are pending at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street.
