Governor to dedicate Columbus bridge Wednesday in honor of former Mayor Stewart

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Gov. Mike Pence will join state and local officials Wednesday at a ceremony dedicating Columbus’ signature cable-stayed bridge in honor of Robert N. Stewart, who served three terms as mayor of Columbus from 1984 to 1996.

The ceremony will be 10 a.m. near the bridge in the parking lot of the historic Columbus Pump House, the former Senior Services Center, 148 Lindsey St.
