SHELBYVILLE — With two goals from Jacob Bush and one each from Lee Hamilton and Rory Thayer, Hauser won its junior varsity soccer match against Shelbyville, 4-2.
Hamilton had two assists, while Christian Case and Thayer had one each. Keeper Nick Johnson made 17 saves.

Bergman scores big for Browns
In Week 4 PAAL football Juniors action, Crase Bergman scored four touchdowns as the Browns ran away from the Jets, 32-6.
Luke Bless scored a pair of touchdowns, and Hayden McDaniel added another as the 49ers beat the Jets, 26-0.
Alex Nugent scored the game’s only touchdown as the Cowboys beat the Chargers, 6-0.
Although Charlie Russel scored a touchdown, the Colts fell to the Falcons, 18-8.
In Seniors action, Treton Kelley scored a pair of touchdowns to lead the Vikings to a 15-14 win against the Redskins.
Cody Horner, Drew Johnson, Cayden Rooks and Conner Emily all scored touchdowns to lead the Raiders against the Saints, 26-7.
Sean Thomasson and Mark Hayhew scored touchdowns as the Cowboys beat the Browns, 16-6.
Golf
Six under wins Par-3 scramble
Greg Manley, Nancy Kirlin, Jared Meredith and Larry Hundley won the Par-3 Mixed Scramble on Tuesday.
They combined for a 6-under score.
The team of George Habinecht, Jill Manley, Ron Fields and Cliff Crawley was second at three under.
Bowling
Joyle, Fields best in Senior play
Don Voyles and Jim Fields tied for high game with a 257 in Thursday Senior Men’s League action at the Columbus Bowling Center.
Vern Phillips shot a 245, and Steve Phillips had a 237.
Voyles had the high scratch series with a 667, while Vern Phillips shot 661. Steve Phillips rolled a 654; Fields had a 651, and Dick Butler shot 609.
The Eagles had the high handicap series with a 2,845 followed by the Tigers at 2,832 and the Badgers at 2,830.
The Badgers and the Tigers are tied for first with an 18-6 record. The Eagles are 16-8, while the Hawks and Alley Cats are 14-20.
Softball
Fall softball going full force
In Monday’s Men’s League play, David Darrell Construction beat F&M Farms, 16-5, while Kirk Tree Service downed S&K Plumbing, 10-9.
In Tuesday Co-Ed play, Mahan Leasing beat Rightway Fasteners, 9-1, while FCFD downed Steam Power, 13-3.
In Wednesday Men’s League play, LHP hammered Precise Mold, 16-6; Foul Boys ripped West Side Wringers, 20-2; Pardieck’s Kitchen and Bath edged Mack and Jessie’s Fireworks, 13-11, and Edward Jones beat Strand Associates, 9-7.
In Thursday 40-plus action, Team 4 beat Team 1, 6-2, and Team 3 beat Team 2, 15-7.
No names were reported in any of the leagues.
