A Hope man who was severely burned in a fire at his home last week, died Monday at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.

David Tindall, 52, had been in the hospital’s burn center, said Michelle O’Keefe, Wishard Health Service’s spokeswoman.

Tindall was flown to the hospital after firefighters pulled him from his burning home in the Circle Drive Trailer Park on Aiken Street. Officials said he was burned on 85 percent to 90 percent of his body.

Tindall lived with his brother, Raymond Tindall, who was treated for cuts to his legs.
