Hotel Indigo wants local photos for facades

Follow The Republic:

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Hotel Indigo is seeking new images from local photographers to be displayed up to four stories tall on the facades of the downtown Columbus' hotel.

Together with Columbus Area Arts Council, Hotel Indigo — located within the city's Arts District — is asking amateur photographers to submit dynamic photos that depict Columbus and Bartholomew County.

Winners from the first contest in 2007, chosen from more than 100 entries, included a waterfall, sunflowers, tulips and a butterfly. Those photos went on display when the local hotel opened in February 2008.
