Educators here question the constitutionality of a bill moving forward in the State Senate that would allow Indiana public schools to teach creationism in science classes.
Creationism refers to the religious belief that God created the world.
The Senate Education Committee voted Wednesday to send the bill before the full Senate. Bills originating in the Senate must win approval from the full chamber by next Wednesday.
