The Indiana Department of Transportation is scheduling single-lane closures next week at four locations on Interstate 65 between Seymour and Scottsburg.
- Northbound right lane closed at the 33.0 mile marker for underdrain installation and full-depth patching
- Southbound right lane closed at the 32.0 mile marker for full depth patches, concrete transitions at C.R. 100 and State Road 56, and guardrail installation
- Southbound left lane closed at the 42.5 mile marker for milling and paving
- Southbound right lane closed at the 47.5 mile marker for concrete transition at U.S. 31
Next week’s activities include milling and paving three miles of an I-65 travel lane.
John R. Jurgensen Company, the state’s prime contractor for this $54.7 million district pavement project, is responsible for renovating 21 lane miles of pavement and rehabilitating 20 bridges along I-65 between S.R. 56 in Scott County and U.S. 50 in Jackson County.
Motorists are urged to drive with extra caution as lane shifts, narrow lanes and rough pavement at patch sites can be expected.
