INDOT to close I-65 lanes, ramps beginning Tuesday

Indiana Department of Transportation officials will close Interstate 65 lanes and ramps between Seymour and Scottsburg next week from 6 a.m. Tuesday through 1 p.m. Friday. Lane closures planned include:

Southbound I-65 right lane at mile marker 50.5

U.S. 50 west loop ramp to southbound I-65

Southbound I-65 loop ramp to U.S. 50 east

Southbound I-65 ramp to westbound U.S. 50 (closed 7 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday)

Eastbound U.S. 50 ramp to southbound I-65 (closed 7 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday)

Southbound I-65 left lane at mile marker 38.0 (closed 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday)

Southbound I-65 right lane at mile marker 38.0 (closed 10 p.m. Tuesday to 1 p.m. Sept. 5)

U.S. 31 ramp to southbound I-65 at the Crothersville exit (Exit 36)

Northbound I-65 right lane at mile marker 40.0

John R. Jurgensen Company, the state’s contractor for the $54.7 million district pavement project, is repairing and resurfacing 21 miles of pavement on I-65 between State Road 56 in Scott County and U.S. 50 in Jackson County.
