A North Vernon man was killed Friday in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 50 near County Road 450W in Spencer, according to the Indiana State Police.
Scott Lucas, 36, was traveling westbound on U.S. 50 around 7 p.m. when his 2010 Ford Fusion crossed the center line and struck an eastbound International flatbed tow truck, a State Police news release said. Lucas was pronounced dead at the scene.
The tow truck was driven by Larry Brown, 21, of Shepherdsville, Ky., who complained of injury to his wrists, according to the release.
The crash remains under investigation.
