Follow The Republic:
“Legacies of Adornment,” a mini-exhibition of jewelry by artist Barbara Natoli Witt, will be conducted from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Indiana University Center for Art
and Design — Columbus, 310 Jackson St., downtown.
The one-day event features a variety of necklaces curated by The Sage Collection at Indiana University Bloomington.
Witt, an integral figure in the wearable-art movement, has been creating her intricately crafted jewelry since the 1970s. She is best known for her inclusion of historical artifacts into her one-of-a-kind pieces.
Admission to the exhibit is free.
