Kindergarten, pre-K registration opportunities next week

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Parents of Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. students can register their children for kindergarten and prekindergarten from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily the rest of next week.
Parents should register for the 2013-14 school year at their home schools in BCSC, said Teresa Heiny, the district's director of elementary education.
She said parents should bring proof of residence and their children's birth certificates and immunization records.
Children must be 5 years old by Aug. 1 to register for kindergarten, and 4 years old by Aug. 1 to register for prekindergarten.
