COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Kirr, Marbach Partners Value Fund on Thursday was named the best Multi-Cap Core Fund out of 647 funds for the 3-year period ending Nov. 30, based on risk-adjusted performance.
Kirr, Marbach, a Columbus-based investment adviser, was honored during at the annual Lipper Fund Awards ceremony in New York City. Kirr, Marbach is the adviser to Value Fund, a no-load, diversified equity fund that launched Dec. 31, 1998.
“We are delighted the Kirr, Marbach Partners Value Fund earned this prestigious award from Lipper,” Mark D. Foster, Value Fund’s portfolio manager and the company's chief investment officer, said in a press release. “We are big believers in eating our own cooking. We are invested alongside our fellow shareholders and are pleased our ‘slow and steady’ value approach won this race for them.”
