Karen Aud brings three invaluable qualities to the office of county clerk: experience, leadership and integrity.

As chief deputy for the past six years, Aud has proven herself to be highly skilled in each of the many duties of her office. Roles such as administering elections, collecting court payments, processing marriage licenses, managing child support payments and ensuring the accuracy of numerous financial transactions fall under the county clerk’s jurisdiction and demand precision. She is meticulous in ensuring these jobs are performed accurately.

Such experience fosters leadership. Aud is respected in her role as chief deputy county clerk and is often sought out to guide colleagues and Bartholomew County residents through the delicate matters and various minutiae of the office.

Aud is a woman of integrity. She is devoted to her family, her community, her church and her profession. She is a model of honesty, professionalism and kindness — characteristics I value in a civil servant. I’m proud to vote for Karen Aud for county clerk.
