A new low point for The Republic. By agreeing to print the headline, “Cummins right to stand against bigotry,” it supports the cultural demonization of politics. Calling everyone who disagrees with Bud Herron’s judgment a bigot.
Herron and these activists’ bigotry charge equivocates racial and ethnic equal rights by God, are the same as mainstreaming those that act on same-sex concupiscence who choose to live under one roof equal to the natural legal procreative civil institution of marriage.
Bare faced politically combative, that opinions’ aim is to shut up opposition, and advance a politic that destroys all business, religious and community group organizations from the free ability to choose what cultural lifestyle to support.
They want the re-definition of marriage, and thus, break all civil contracts where marriage is defined. All employers are people that are allowed to add extra benefits and endorse the standing Christian and biblically defined, natural family system.
Cummins leadership made a statement that they did not want to have their system of sponsoring such homosexual partnering to be legislated away, but that is exactly what the same sex activists are going to achieve.
Where, business owners will not be free to choose how they benefit employees for maintaining a naturally aligned standard marriage.
The definition of marriage has been a standard institution for thousands of years, this fiat is a disgrace to our legal system and government that should not usurp the contracts that are active by business owners across Indiana and the nation. All employers are the ones risking their capital, and through such provide for their employees.
All employers, not just Cummins, deserve to have that freedom and not have it squashed by the ill culture of an extreme minority claiming that it’s a right. Yea so a blind person wants to drive to work too, should they get a license? There’s my equivocation, but you see, a license to drive or get married is not a right. There’s my point.
Vision is required to drive. Marriage was a naturally ordered institution for procreation.
You need some other institution for any two adult household. If you leave morality out of this altogether, then even someone of the same family or other two person adult arrangements could be added, distinct but not overlapping with marriage, but I know that would just get out of the face of people the extreme homosexual minority thinks are bigots.
