I just read an article stating that the U.S. House of Representatives voted 417-3 in favor of a bill that authorizes water-related infrastructure projects in the U.S., including $800 million for flood-protection projects in Moorhead, Minn., and Fargo, N.D. The president has said he supports the bill.
Surely Columbus would be more than eligible for a few million dollars of those funds to reduce the flooding potential caused by the horrible conditions on Haw Creek through the city. Can someone figure out how we can apply for some of those desperately needed funds?
