I would like to comment on an onion in The Republic this morning about “the church that has a concert Sunday morning and does not preach a sermon.”

I attended a concert this past Sunday at a church, and it was presented in such a way that it was a sermon in itself. The musician sang songs and spoke words that were full of biblical truths.

The concert ended with four people joining the church, three of whom were baptized at the end of the service. (Two baptisms were planned, and one who was moved by the concert and made his confession of faith and was baptized.)

God works in all ways to get his message across to different people at different times. As an attendee of the concert, I witnessed the power of the music which was given as an offering to God and changed a life. Only God knows what seeds were planted Sunday morning.
