Letter: More diversity must be priority over profit

The farmers markets and mingling of people who attend is the greatest attraction to the downtown. Since we are becoming a more diverse ethnic community, it would also be nice to see more participants representing other cultures in these markets. A continual ethnic expo market.

But, be forewarned. The mingling of people should be the priority before profit. If it deviates from that, it will die. All the vendors should keep this in mind. Being a good host is what gave us the motto “Hoosier Hospitality” and “The Crossroads of America.”
