My name is Eddie Wheeler. Being from Edinburgh, it is very cool to know that we Edinburghers are finally getting to be known for our town, the great mall, etc.

Recently I was invited to tour one of the great renovations in Edinburgh. The Pixy Theatre, a block from downtown, was shown to me by owner Mike Harding.

He told me how he has invested much of his savings into the Pixy, making a place for live music venues, a conference center, party areas and wedding receptions.

To see how the 100-year-old place has been transformed into a beautiful building, I was truly touched.

I saw my first movie in the 1950s, got my first kiss from a pretty girl as a teenager, played many concerts with the Justin Slager Band since the 1970s, and just kind of grew up in and out of the Pixy.

In closing, Mr. Harding has done a great service to Edinburgh in giving us a place to have concerts, live plays, a conference area and wedding receptions, in addition to a full kitchen that serves 150, and handicapped bathrooms up and downstairs. This makes the Pixy Theatre a place to marvel.

Please support Mr. Harding’s effort to give Edinburgh, Columbus, Franklin and surrounding towns a great place to gather.
