I’ve seen the complaints recently in the Onions regarding the dogs at the Farmers Market downtown. And the latest one even included the people on bicycles.
It’s time for people to wise up and realize that they are part of a community, a community that is accepting of polite, well-behaved dogs and of bicycle riders. I brought my dog with me for the first time last weekend, and he loved it! He loved meeting friendly people and kids, and other dogs as well. It’s a great way to keep dogs well socialized, so they are not afraid of strangers and strange dogs.
I would suggest to those who have issues with dogs and bicyclers at the Farmers Market to just get over it. This is how a community works; it accepts everyone. As long as the dogs don’t fight and are well-behaved, and the people too, there should be no problems with either at the market.
Thanks. Looking forward to seeing my friends there this weekend, and yes, I will be bringing my dog.
