Please tell me someone else gets mad every time they call Social Security an entitlement program.
I started working the day after I graduated high school in 1973 and have paid Social Security taxes and Medicare taxes ever since. I am now on Social Security disability.
How can it be an entitlement program if I have paid money into the system? To me it is more of a retirement plan because I have put money into it.
I always thought entitlement programs were something for nothing, not something you pay taxes for.
Am I wrong?
Don't settle for a preview.
