A short note to those unhappy with Tuesday’s election results.

Please stop listening to commercials and develop your own ideas. What is your point? President Obama won the popular vote, too. There have been only four or five times in which the popular vote did not produce the same outcome as the Electoral College.

Those people referred to in those Republican commercials, people receiving handouts (47 percent), are those individuals who receive income-tax refunds. Do not fear, though. We all pay taxes on gasoline and clothing, and we also pay state income tax, county tax, property tax and so on.

The terrible economy will take a few years to fix, as it was that bad. Do you know that the banks responsible for much of the damage have not been punished? I suppose the rich guy you voted for was going to do what with the banks? Encourage them to continue on their reckless path?

The economy will turn around.

History teaches us during the Depression it took more than four years to get right. I will leave it to you to read about it. The politically divided nation requires more than one person.

I suggest looking at Fox News and listen to the hate they spew and besides Fox, do you ever really listen to Rush Limbaugh, Donald Trump and others?

Think your friends should see this? Share it with them!
