This morning, when I read the front-page story about the crash of Gerry Clayton’s plane three months ago, I was stunned by your lack of sensitivity and responsibility.

Are you simply desperate for material and turning to sensationalism in an effort to boost the sales of the paper?

Your decision to run this story again after lengthy coverage at the time of the accident ignores the feelings of a family that is still endeavoring to recover from a profound loss.

Has it even occurred to you that you may have robbed them of three months of healing progress?

If your intention was to update your readers on Dennis King’s condition, you could have done it in another way; you could have done it without the photos and the crash details.

You could have run an article inside on his recovery process ... not on the front page. Shame on you.
