The staff and friends of Volunteers in Medicine want to say thank you to all the people and organizations that helped us with our recent move to 940 N. Marr Road.

When the call went out for help, many people responded. We especially appreciate the employees from CRH, CRH Foundation, Reams Asset Management, Heritage Fund, IUPUC, Cummins Inc., Columbus Parks and Recreation Department , HPI and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their time, resources and support during the move.

Special thanks also go to the many VIM volunteers who help throughout the year and put in extra hours to purge, pack and unpack. VIM couldn’t operate without your continual service, and you stepped up to the plate yet again when we needed you. There are too many volunteers to name, but we know who you are and are truly grateful for what you do.

Finally, I am continually amazed by the generosity of donors throughout Bartholomew County who support Volunteers in Medicine on an annual basis and make sure the resources we need are available.

Since 1997, VIM has provided free health care services for people in Bartholomew County without access to medical insurance. We do this with a small paid staff and hundreds of physician, nursing, dental, pharmaceutical and mental health providers and community volunteers.

In this ever-changing medical care climate, it is gratifying to have that continued support. Thanks again to the Bartholomew County and Columbus community.
