Obama changing country into socialist nation

From: Michael Beavin

In response to Tom Lane’s amazement at the reaction to President Obama’s statement, “You didn’t get there on your own,” I must say that I am amazed at Mr. Lane’s amazement.

Mr. Lane appears to think that we are so “simplistic and ignorant” that we could not grasp the fact that it is a given that none of us would be where we are by our own efforts alone. This is not the issue that caused such a public reaction. The issue is President Obama’s belief that without the government’s help no one could be successful.

When the president said, “Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive,” why then did he promise to “fundamentally transform this country”?

I would suggest that Mr. Obama is doing a very fine job of fulfilling his promise and if re-elected will finish the job.

When this is accomplished this country will have been “fundamentally transformed” from being the leader of the free world into just another bankrupt European-styled Socialist country.

Americans must speak for truth, righteousness

America at a Crossroads?

Is the compass for America pointed in the right direction?

Are we financially and morally in decline because of our local, state, national and international decisions?

Have God’s blessings for America been the bedrock for America’s greatness.

Are we now in danger of losing, in my view, our greatest and best defender, God?

I’m deeply troubled that many in this nation, in my opinion, have departed from a path of right living either deliberately or being deceived into believing and convincing others that a social philosophy of today, stating that society is changing so we must change with society is, in many cases, in my view, undermining the moral fabric of this nation.

Truth and righteousness never change.

Beware, do not let implacable voices drown you out or change your mind.

Speak what you believe to be the truth.

Think, do not be deceived by fancy coined phrases that sound like a point of view is fair, correct, OK or right.

Speak out. Christians, especially, I believe, must speak out on issues that go against God’s teachings.

One can also “speak” at the ballot box.

Most, if not all of us, have the opportunity or privilege of making individual choices.

What we have decided and will decide today will determine in large measure what America is and will become tomorrow.

Today, I believe America hangs in the balance. Our decisions not only determine our future and our destiny, but in greater measure our decisions determine the direction, the longevity and the destiny of all the people in America.

Perhaps, just as importantly, our decisions determine the destiny of untold millions around the world, yearning to walk in the shelter, yes, even in the shadow of the greatest nation ever conceived and created, the United States of America!

Are you contributing to America’s financial and moral decline, or are you a champion for truth and righteousness?

Think your friends should see this? Share it with them!
