Around a dozen picketers were still on the line this morning in front of the Columbus Dolly Madison plant, even though the company announced it was liquidating.
Most of the strikers declined to comment on the record, but they said that they are skeptical that the company actually intends to shut down, and that they intend to continue protesting.
"We'll believe it when we see it," said one.
In a show of camraderie, retired Hostess driver Ernie Dailey also spent some time on the line this morning. He retired in December 2011 after nearly 30 years with the company.
"They've told us so many lies," said Dailey. "Eventually we just stopped believing them."
