Q: What is the biggest mistake runners make when getting dressed for a workout or event?

A: Generally you see big problems with people wearing cotton. That’s a disaster. Sweat shorts or sweatshirts cause high friction. That leads to a lot of chaffing. People should be wearing mostly synthetic blends. People also overdress. You don’t need to. The body generates a huge amount of heat.
