As the weather turns warmer, so can your marital relationship.
Community Church of Columbus’ free Summer Marriage Enrichment Series, featuring three one-night workshops, begins next month.
“Perfect if you are engaged or if you have been married 50 years,” said the church’s Scott Hundley, one of the organizers.
People can attend any one session or all. No registration is required unless you need child care. That will be provided for $1 per child.
Sessions will meet at the church, 3850 N. Marr Road, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays on the following dates:
- June 10: “ New Adam/New Eve,” revisiting the concepts of the roles of husband and wife. Presented by Al and Pam White of Better Together Consulting.
- July 22: “Love and Respect.” He needs respect, she needs love, so goes the refrain in many marriages, according to couples and counselors. This is a basic overview of the love and respect concepts. The full course will be taught in the fall as part of Tuesday Connection. Facilitators are Gary and Debbie Garber.
- Aug. 12: “Negative Thinking in Marriage and How to Avoid It,” presented by Morey and Rhonda Laswell.
