Columbus and Bartholomew County officials will meet to discuss road improvement projects, the city’s strategic growth plan and agricultural issues.
Members of planning commissions for the city and county are hosting their annual meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. July 30 at Columbus City Hall.
City officials will talk about Columbus’ growth plan, outlining where city infrastructure and utilities will be needed.
Laurence Brown, Columbus Area and Metropolitan Planning Organization director, will talk about planned road improvement projects in the city and county.
City engineer Beth Fizel and county highway engineer Danny Hollander will also discuss road improvement projects.
Kris Medic, Purdue Extension Bartholomew County Agriculture & Natural Resource Education, will talk about where Bartholomew County ranks in state agricultural statistics.
