Columbus Police officers arrested two Edinburgh men on drug charges Tuesday night.
At about 9:50 p.m., officers arrested Jeremy D. Streeval, 29, 211 N. Kyle St., on two warrants for dealing in cocaine or a narcotic drug, a Level 4 felony, and possession of a schedule drug, Sgt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police spokesman said. The arrest was made in the 11000 block of North U.S. 31.
Streeval is in the Bartholomew county Jail on $120,000 bond.
While at the scene, officers received information that people were driving back to Bartholomew County with heroin that had been purchased in Indianapolis, Harris said.
Officers located and arrested Rex D. Locke, 26, 105 Shelby Ave., on preliminary charges of possession of heroin, a Level 6 felony, and a Shelby County warrant for probation violation, Harris said.
Locke is being held without bond in the Bartholomew County Jail, according to jail records.
