Metallic paints theme of social painting workshop

The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts presents “Autumn’s Hopes and Dreams,” 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at The Body Shop, 2015 N. Ewing St., in Seymour.
February’s themed event is part of SICA’s social painting workshop series, “Paint the Town,” which gathers in different locations each month.
Participants in the February workshop will use metallic paints to compose a themed, complete picture on a 16-inch-by-20-inch canvas.
No artistic experience is necessary.
The cost for the workshop is $35 and includes a light appetizer and all art materials. Payment is required in advance with registration. Limited space is available.
