A traffic stop of a mo-ped resulted in a Columbus man's arrest.
At about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Sgt. Jennifer Van Vactor was patrolling the area of Pennsylvania and 17th streets in Columbus when she noticed a mo-ped driving without a tail light operating, said Lt. Matt Myers, spokesperson for the Columbus Police Department.
After stopping the driver, Robin L. Ransom, 41, 630 11th St., and speaking with him, Van Vactor determined that the mo-ped had been reported stolen. Ransom was arrested on a charge of possessing stolen property, a Class D felony, Myers said.
