Musician, actor-couple host Next Salon Talk

Join Jan Lucas-Grimm and Tim Grimm for the next installment of Salon Talk at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Indiana University Center for Art and Design — Columbus, 310 Jackson St.

Lucas-Grimm has worked in theater as an actress on stages from Chicago and Indianapolis to Los Angeles. She has also written and directed several plays, including the Emmy-nominated folk-opera “Wilderness Plots.”

Grimm is a songwriter, musician and actor who regularly tours North America and Europe performing his “unique brand of roots-folk-Americana” music. He has worked with a range of artists, including actor Harrison Ford and novelist Wendell Berry.

Admission to this event is free.

The Salon Talk series is organized to give area artists, musicians and designers in the Columbus community a forum to present their work and generate discussion and debate about practices, theories and ideas.
