A new manufacturing company will save 52 jobs that would have been lost when Baldor Electric Co. ceases local operations.
Master Power Transmission will retain 52 Baldor employees at the plant, at 10th Street and Marr Road. They will continue to make power transmission products, as it has for more than 50 years.
The terms of the deal, which was finalized April 1, have not been released.
