COLUMBUS, Ind. — The marching bands from Columbus North and Columbus East high schools will be among 18 bands performing in Saturday's Midstates Marching Band Contest at North's Max Andress Football Field.
Performances begin at 4 p.m. and awards are scheduled for 9. Columbus East performs at 7:30 and Columbus North at 8:30.
The bands are divided into classes by the number of Musicians in the band. Marching band shows are judged and ranked on their music, visuals and general effect. Color Guard and percussion are also judged during their performance.
