A Jennings County man and his girlfriend have been arrested in Monroe County on drug charges.
Eric Olmstead, 37, of North Vernon, and Amy Young, 42, of Bloomington, were arrested Monday on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine.
The arrests stemmed from a drug investigation conducted by a special unit of the Indiana State Police post in Monroe County.
Information led troopers to a mobile home park in south-central Bloomington, according to an ISP press release.
At 10 p.m. Monday, troopers detected a strong chemical odor coming from within a trailer on West Davis Street, the release said. After getting permission from the mobile home owner, officers conducted a search that revealed an active meth lab, according to the Indiana State Police.
Last month, members of the same unit arrested Young for an identical drug charge for an incident that took place on Skyline Drive in Bloomington.
Monroe County Prosecutor Chris Gaal will determine what formal charges, if any, will be filed in the case.
