North boys fall in basketball regional

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus North's dream season came to an end today with a 69-54 loss to Franklin Central in the boys basketball regional at Seymour.

The Class 4A No. 3 Bull Dogs fell behind 15-0 and never recovered. Evan Henry led the Bull Dogs with 18 points.

North finished the season 23-2 and won its first sectional championship since 1997.
