The Northside boys seventh-grade basketball team downed Central 42-37.
Tyler Thomas led Northside with 12 points, while Wesley Barkes tallied 10 points. Caden Nentrup had six points, and Trey Vincent and Drew Hasson each had five points. For Central, Josh Major poured in 17 points, while James Harris and Riley Smith each had eight points.
In the B game, Drew Wilson scored 10 points for Northside, which dropped a 41-32 decision to Central. Central was led by Klayton Brummett’s 12 points, along with seven from Eric Hollencamp and five each from Noah Sandefur, Mark Sciutto and Bringham Kleinhenz. The Northside B team also beat Jennings County 51-19 as Luke Poe and Cameron Barrix each scored 10 points. Drew Wilson added nine.
The Central A team beat Franklin Township, 49-35, while the B team downed Franklin 30-21. For the A team, Major scored 27 points, Kiel Webb had eight, and Riley Smith scored six. Eric Hollencamp led the B team with 11 points, while Kleinhenz had six points.
In other Northside action, Northside’s eighth-grade Blue boys team beat Jennings County 39-22. Tylor Bennett had nine points for Jennings County, while Oren Johnson scored six.
The Northside seventh-grade girls team downed Madison 30-18.
Britney Ballard led Northside with 11 points, Kendal Williams added eight, and Addison Galarno scored five.
In other Central action, Emma Perry scored eight points, but the Central girls seventh-grade B team lost to St. Bartholomew 26-12.
Jennings seventh-grade boys get past South Decatur
The Jennings County seventh-grade White boys team downed South Decatur 48-43. Matt Martin sparked the effort with 13 points, and Kris Garlitch was in double figures with 10. Austin Roscoe scored eight points, and Frank Bailey had seven.
Jennings County lost to St. Bartholomew 43-41. Martin scored 14 points, Travis Wilson had eight, and Brandon Koors scored seven.
The Jennings County seventh-grade Blue boys team beat Northside 51-19. Frank Bailey had six points for Northside, while Noah Hill had four points.
In other Jennings County action, the seventh-grade White girls team beat Scottsburg 27-11.
Brooklyn Gaines led the way with 13 points. Macy Roth scored six points for Jennings County, while Alexus Brown had five points.
The Central seventh-grade Blue girls team beat Jennings County 28-16. Brooke Minor had six points for Jennings County, while Jadyn Henry scored five. Emma Perry led Central with eight points.
The Jennings County eighth-grade Blue girls team dropped a 20-14 decision to Central. Makinsy Vonts scored five points for Jennings County, while Ansley Blackburn had three points.
The Jennings County eighth-grade White girls team beat St. Bartholomew 33-20.

North freshman boys win;
girls team falls to Roncalli
The Columbus North freshmen boys basketball team beat Bloomington North 44-34 as Drew Schoeberl led the way with 14 points.
Collin Lollar added 11 points for the Bull Dogs, while Sean Dasovich had seven points and Alex Algee scored six.
Columbus North’s freshmen girls team dropped a 22-21 decision to Roncalli.
Kara Linn led North with eight points, while Lauren Imlay had four points and Emily Kim scored three.
Gross leads Hauser boys
to seventh-grade victory
Hauser’s seventh-grade boys team beat Southwestern 35-14 as Alex Gross led the way with 12 points. Justin Compton scored 10 for Hauser, while Andrew Titus had six points and Kadin Pattingill had five.
Big effort by Jennings JV
girls results in 4-1 record
In junior varsity action, the Jennings County girls squad moved to 4-1 with a 39-14 win against Waldron. Cassie Leach scored eight points for Jennings County, Skyler Blanton had seven, and Shelbi Wright and Marisa Biehle each had six.
Hauser JV boys team rolls
past Trinity Lutheran
The Hauser junior varsity boys team downed Trinity Lutheran 37-28. Quindon Shipley scored 11 points, and Zach Gearhart had 10.
Parker Criswell led Trinity Lutheran with 10 points, and Nick Toppe added seven points.
Elementary League results
In recent Elementary Basketball League action, the girls results were Richards getting past Rockcreek 43-18, Southside downing CSA Fondrea 29-9, Parkside handling Schmitt 39-14, Clifty Creek nipping Mount Healthy 25-22, and Taylorsville prevailing over Smith 34-20.
In boys action, Richards downed Rockcreek 40-15, Southside beat CSA Fondrea 26-1, Schmitt defeated Parkside 40-28, Mount Healthy triumphed over Clifty Creek34-9, and Taylorsville beat Smith 41-25.
