OLDENBURG — South Decatur jumped out to an eight-point lead after one quarter Wednesday night, but Oldenburg Academy rallied for a 70-52 win.

“We just can’t finish a game,” South Decatur coach Jessi McConnell said. “When you score 22 points in the first quarter, you think you’re doing well. But then we scored eight the next quarter.”

Julia Miller led the Cougars (5-8) with 17 points. Megan Niese and Ashley Johannigman each scored 11, and Brooke Helms added 10.
