Autumn’s Hopes and Dreams will be the theme of this month’s Paint the Town party to be held Nov. 29, at Smith’s Row Food & Spirits in downtown Columbus.
Southern Indiana Center for the Arts of Seymour offers these social painting workshops every month to bring friends together at various locations throughout the area to paint and have fun in a social setting.
During the November workshop teaching artists help participants paint a complete picture on a 16-by-20 canvas.
Participants will use all metallic paints.
The painting features a billowy, whimsical tree scattering brightly colored rings that represent the painter’s hopes and dreams for the fall season.
No artistic experience or talent is required.
The workshop will be from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
The participation fee is $34 for SICA members and $40 for non-members.
All art materials are supplied and the fee includes appetizers and one glass of wine provided by Smith’s Row.
Smith’s Row is at 418 Fourth St. in downtown Columbus.
Reservations are required and will only be accepted with prepayment of the fee. To reserve your spot, call 522-2278 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
