Paintball spree damages homes, vehicles in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Homes and vehicles in at least five separate locations in Columbus were damaged late last week by a paintball gun.

Columbus Police said most of the vandalism likely occurred Thursday night. The first incident near 12th and Chestnut streets was reported shortly after midnight Friday morning. The fifth and final report from a home in the area of 22nd and California streets was received early Friday evening.

Other locations where similar damage was reported are Cessna Drive, Keller Avenue and Clairmont Drive.

Police say they have no suspects at this time. Those with information are asked to contact the Columbus Police Department at 376-2600.
