COLUMBUS, Ind. — City officials had hoped the Fourth and Washington streets intersection would be open for Saturday's Ethnic Expo Parade. Consider that hope squashed.
Construction to renovate Fourth Street has rerouted the parade. City officials approved an alternate route Tuesday at the Board of Public Works meeting. It was made official Thursday.
The new route for the 11 a.m. parade starts at the intersection of Eighth and Brown. It's designed for the participants to travel east to Washington Street, south to Fifth Street and west to Brown Street.
Don't settle for a preview.
