City officials are reconsidering the Ethnic Expo parade route, after reports that the Fourth and Washington streets intersection might not be ready by Saturday.
"We had some rain days so the concrete work kind of slowed down a little bit," said Rieth-Riley project foreman Gary Davis. "But we're still beating and banging and doing the best we can out there"
City officials were working Monday to re-route the parade. They expected to have the plan finalized by today.
"We're looking at probably another week and a half until that intersection will be open," City Engineer Dave Hayward said.
