A reunion of Columbus-area residents who served in the Peace Corps will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus.
The meeting is open to the public and organizers are hoping to attract younger Peace Corps volunteers who have not participated in previous reunions.
“We typically have drawn a group of 20 to 25 older volunteers but we are constantly looking for ways to get information out to those who have served in recent years,” said organizer Bob Pitman.
Pitman, executive director of Mill Race Center, said the gathering also can be instructive for the general public.
For information contact Pitman at 376-9241, ext. 204 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
