Picnic honoring emergency personnel Saturday

COLUMBUS, Ind. — A public picnic and brief ceremony to honor emergency personnel and volunteers who aided the Holton community following the tornado that hit it March 2 is 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ripley County Fairgrounds, 524 W. Beech St. in Osgood.
State Rep. Randy Frye, R-Greensburg, and Indiana State Fire Marshal Jim Greeson will attend. Music will be provided by the Keith Sweeney Band and Indianapolis firefighter Jeff Owens.
