Pizza delivery driver robbed at knifepoint

Follow The Republic:

A pizza delivery driver was unharmed after being robbed at knifepoint Friday night.

As the driver walked to her car in the alley in the 2100 block of Ohio Street at 8:41 p.m. Friday, a man in a camouflaged hunting mask ran at her demanding she give him all her money. The driver said the man had a shiny object in his hand, which looked to be a knife. He took the money from her hand and fled.

The driver described her attacker as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a dark jacket or sweatshirt and blue jeans. She said he had the word “hate” tattooed in the knuckle area of one of his hands.

Officers responding to the robbery call attempted to track the suspect with police dogs, but were unsuccessful.

Individuals with any information are asked to please contact the Columbus Police Department at 376-2600.
