Planetarium to feature lasers, Star of Bethlehem

Volunteer Bob Kasting sees the latest collection of shows at the Lauren S. Noblitt Planetarium at Columbus East High School, Marr Road and Indiana Avenue, as shedding light on a variety of topics.

Here’s a look at the upcoming schedule.

  • Today: “Laser Space Exploration,” 6:30 p.m.; “The Star of Bethlehem,” 8 p.m.

  • Wednesday: “Laser Beatles,” 6:30 p.m.; “The Star of Bethlehem,” 8 p.m.
  • Thursday: “Laser U2,” 6:30 p.m.; “The Star of Bethlehem,” 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: “Laser Spectacular,” 5 p.m.; “Laser Beatles,” 6:30 p.m.; “The Star of Bethlehem,” 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: “Laser Pink Floyd,” 5 p.m.; “Laser Led Zeppelin,” 6:30 p.m.; “The Star of Bethlehem,” 8 p.m.

Admission is $5 for each of the individual shows, which goes toward the planetarium’s operating expenses.
